A Cosy Home

The house was built in 2008 with balconies on the north/northeast side, facing to the rear. All outer walls of this 2-story building are highly heat insulating brick walls (Poroton). The gabled roof is done with tiles.

The outer shell has a 2-times machine-applied render in a warm orange/yellow mediterranean look.

All U-PVC double glace windows have electronic rolling shutters.

The entry door is also U-PVC with heat insulated glass filling.

Luxurious Interieur

Inside the flat everything is as perfect as one would wish, the previous standard door to the office / 2nd bedroom has been made into a barn door style opening which welcomes you to the flat with the marvellous view of the castle.

Along with the looks, you won't see any heating elements because the floor heating already warms your feet.

Of course, the temperature can either be regulated with the thermostats in each room or alternatively via smart home applications such as Apple Homekit. Not to mention the lights that are all Alexa-controlled so there is no need to switch button on or off.

You see, everything can either be voice-controlled or controlled with your smartphone or scheduled in automatic mode. Additionally the office is equipped with Sonos speakers for the right music at the right time.

There is No Ordinary in This Flat

The walls on both ends of the flat are custom made. In the master bedroom emphasize was put on the warm cosy feeling when you want to go to bed. The master bedroom hence features a wooden wall with LED-lighting for individual ambience light as well as some natural elements.

There is a 42-inch television set is hanging above a cabinet in order to enjoy all the incoming sunlight from the smaller side window. Sonos speakers and Alexa-controlled lighting act as a finishing (technical) touch.

A Huge Place to Come Together

On the opposite wall in the living room and kitchen, the stove is the focus point. But instead of a brick wall - too much of a classic - the wall shows some kind of stacked shale in a warm white to underline and pick up the mediterranean look of the facade of the house.

The stove also functions as a divider between the kitchen with the dining area and the living room, making it a huge area where one can get together and enjoy the evening.
